In the now distant past Overwild was a beautiful urban park, an oasis mere steps from the city. Now Overwild is a fully wild area that reclaims more of the urban city with each passing season. Overwild is universally lush and filled with all sorts of life. Paths that haven't quite been fully overtaken by kudzu still wind through Overwild, allow easy access to interesting places.

The northern segments of Overwild are dense tropical jungle that is challenging even for experienced adventurers to traverse. Southern Overwild is home to lakes that are a popular destination during the summer heat, as well as the Carved Caves. The Carved Caves are now considered one of the most important places in the world by those who have Awakened. Overwild is also home to the only known gate to the Wardlands.
